Space is limited to 25 participants and is only open to current ODU women students. There is a $35 registration fee required upon acceptance into the Institute. Attendance is required for all seven modules, so please take a look at the module dates and times to ensure there are no conflicts in your schedule before applying. Since 1996, the Women's Institute for Leadership Development (WILD) at Old Dominion University has focused on developing the leadership
skills of women students. The Institute incorporates theory and practice and is divided into seven modules. Dedicated to building
community among members and refining essential leadership skills, the program provides students with the opportunity to network with
other student leaders and professional women.
The Institute is available fall and spring semesters and modules are held on Mondays from 2 - 4 P.M.
WILD is available only to Old Dominion University students currently enrolled for credit.
You must be able to attend all modules in order to participate. Please check your class/work schedule prior to applying, as this may
affect the review of your application if you indicate "unsure."

To explore women's style of leadership and to support and empower women students as they develop their leadership
skills.
To enhance leadership skills and intellectual development and to create an environment which values and nurtures
women leaders.

To create a network and a community among women leaders during and after college experience.
To become an integral part of leadership development for women students at Old Dominion University.
